I had an interesting experience this week. I frequently have the Jehovah's Witnesses come to my door. One of the women who visits speaks enough English to communicate with me. I think because I am friendly, she may think I am interested in her religion. I mentioned this to Ken last month and he suggested that I give her a Book of Mormon. Duh! Why didn't I think of that?! So I asked the sister missionaries if I could have one to share with her if she came back. The month passed. I saw her out tracting in a neighborhood about a 10 minute drive away. I realized that it had been awhile since I'd seen her. I said a prayer that she would come knocking on my door again so that I could share the Book of Mormon with her. Guess who knocked on my door the next morning? Yep! It was her! She wouldn't accept the book, at least not yet. BUT, my testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel was strengthened. My testimony of answered prayers was strengthened. God is good. He hears us when we speak. How grateful I am for that knowledge.
