It's finally cherry blossom season! The area around the Kintai bridge is one of the best viewing areas for the sakura in the world. As I mentioned in my post about the plum blossoms, people gather to have picnics and parties underneath these trees when they bloom. We had a full Saturday, but decided we would try to have a picnic dinner under the trees. Well, traffic ended up being horrible because the day and the view were so amazing and we were stuck so long, we ate dinner in the car. By the time we made it to the bridge, it was lit up for nighttime viewing. We've never been there at night and I'm glad we went. It was gorgeous! The pictures make it look a lot brighter than it was.
