Since Japan Standard Time is 16 hours ahead of Salt Lake's time, we are not able to enjoy conference with the bulk of the members. We always have Fast Sunday on the first weekends in April and October, and then we are able to watch conference the following weekend, a week after everyone else. Last October, we started a tradition of making funnel cakes for conference. We call them "Conference Cakes" and the boys (and now Pepper!) look forward to them every conference time.
How grateful I am for a living prophet and apostles that speak to us for Jesus Christ. They give me hope in raising a righteous family amidst all of the wickedness.
