After two years living in Japan, we were finally able to go back to the States to visit! Our trip was nearly a month long and it was so much fun! I'm going to chunk the posts according to activity as best as I can.
First up--California!
We flew into LAX because it was cheaper and we wanted to take a few days to get over the jetlag before heading to Utah. We rented a cute little beach cottage in Carlsbad. It was adorable and super close to the beach. Our dear friends the Gibbons met us there for a beach day and two days at LEGOLAND.
These pictures were all taken at Carlsbad beach and in the backyard of the little cottage we stayed in. We had so much fun!
